If you want to escape from the cold British winter your first step is to tuck into “Chasing Dreams”, a novel by Aaron Jennings.

With good intentions of travelling as soon as he is old enough Matt's dreams are reinforced after getting to know a surfer, Noodle on a boys trip to Newquay. Listening to Noodle's tales of a life surfing and travelling the world it soon becomes clear to Matt that he has to get away as soon as he leaves school. The book follows his first few weeks' travels as he embarks on a trip to Thailand and Australia.

A wonderful read that lets you escape into a world of sun and adventure. A true must read whether you've been travelling or not. If you have it'll bring back those good times and if you haven't you'll will be booking that 'round the world' ticket before you've got to the end.

The only disappointing part of the book is getting to the end! When's the sequel Aaron?
