Singer songwriter Ben Howard will play his first headline tour of the UK this December in association with leading surf brand Quiksilver and in support of Surfers Against Sewage.
Ben Howard is a live acoustic talent not to be missed. With recent European supports for Xavier Rudd, Fink and Brett Dennen and festival appearances including the Boardmasters, Gold Coast Festival, Lovebox, Quik Pro France and Glastonbury under his belt just this year, he continues to turn heads throughout Europe and across the pond.
The self release and subsequent sell-out launch of his debut Ep 'These Waters', and victory at the Red Stripe music awards have brought things from strength to strength.
Growing up in Devon, Ben's blend of percussive folk and raw acoustics are fitting acknowledgments of his roots: both scenic and musical. The likes of John Martyn, Joni Mitchell and modern counterparts such as Bon Iver and Ray Lamontagne are all cited by Ben as heavy influences.
With the help of Quiksilver and in support of Surfers Against Sewage and their campaign from clean Seas, Ben will be playing a few select dates across the UK this December, strangely most of them by the sea.
Hope you can make it :)
