A1Surf.com sponsors UK big screen tour of "The Present"

A1Surf.com, the original website for the UK and Irish surfing community, has announced it is partnering with The Surf Screen as one of the sponsors their UK tour of Thomas Campbell’s new movie The Present.
The Present is Thomas Campbell’s eagerly-awaited follow up to Sprout and The Seedling. Filmed in West Africa, New Zealand, Australia, Sumatra, Java, Hawaii and California, the film promises to delight surf movie fans.
It features surfers including Dave Rastovich, Dane Reynolds, Joel Tudor, Sofia Mulanovich, C.J. Nelson, Dan Malloy, Kassia Meador and others.
Visiting a number of different venues across the south west and south of the country, the tour also heads to Brighton on Saturday 25th April, with the “A1Surf.com Screening of The Present”.
David Somerville from A1surf.com said: “We are really excited to be a part of this tour and are looking forward to help bring this movie to the surfing community.
“Watching a surf movie on the big screen is completely different and we are sure with a film such as The Present this experience will be even better.
“We are especially pleased to help bring this to Brighton as previous surf movie nights have shown the local crew are always keen to support anything like this.”
Christiaan Bailey from The Surf Screen said: “Big screen exhibition of independent surf movies is a vital element in the enrichment of our surf culture, inspiring and bringing together a community for a shared experience. The Surf Screen is bringing surf movies back to the big screen on a regular basis and in doing so will support a stream of original content from talented film makers, for us all to enjoy.
“Thomas Campbell’s new film, The Present, is going to blow minds and it’s thanks to forward thinking partners, who share our vision, that we can take this amazing film to so many great venues. A1Surf.com have been incredibly supportive and generous, as both a media partner for the tour and sponsor of the Brighton screening – it’s going to be the event of the year, so don’t miss it!”
