Sea Level Tour

Surfer Songwriters heading up the coast from the South West to The city

For the first time the Sea Level Tour are bringing the super surfer vibe to a venue near you this summer including the Concorde 2 Brighton on Thursday 25th July 2013. Taking a host of soulful singer/songwriters and rock ‘n’ roll surfers with their laidback attitude and beachside tunes on an eight venue tour of coastal towns and surf communities, creating a unique opportunity for music lovers to “live the dream” in their home town.

From the 20th – 28th July, a series of surf style live performances will bring the taste of good times on land. With songs inspired by the sea, encouraging people to get in touch with their inner surf-dude, this is the perfect way to chill out and enjoy the ride. Soak up the relaxed, cool music scene and imagine the sand between your toes as you taking in this wave of  creative talent moving up the  south west coastline.
Carving up the music scene on the tour is multi-award winning songwriter Ash Grunwald, bringing his stunning fusion of “Blues and Beatz” back to the UK from his native Australia. Ash has established an awesome reputation for his live performances having played the cream of the South West's festivals such as Ocean Fest in Devon, Surf Relief at Watergate Bay, Boardmasters in Newquay and Beach Break Live in Wales in recent years. Ash is a passionate surfer and is back in the UK after a two year international tour to promote his sixth studio album "Troubles Door".

Alongside Ash is Newquay based singer songwriter and surfer, Ruarri Joseph. Ruarri has received high critical acclaim for his songwriting and the video for the single "Till the luck runs dry" has just hit 100,000 views. His 4th album "Brother" is to be released this spring and he has recently been signed up by global music giant Warner to promote the new album, which is set to be his most successful yet.

Also making musical waves is Miss Polly Money. Only 17 years old but already receiving accolades far and wide for her songwriting skills; she is named the ‘next big thing’ by Acoustic Magazine:

"Hailing from Falmouth, Cornwall, and at only 17-years-old, Polly Money is writing music and singing songs that are making the acoustic community sit up and take notice. 2013 is the year for Polly Money".

Don your surf beads and head out to your nearest venue for the gnarliest night out this summer.
