It was pretty wild today & I noticed an Ambulance heading towards Carats, if it was a surfer then hope its not too bad. And if it's not a surfer then hope its not too bad either.

Carats was rammed today, couldn't even get a space. Ideally they should have an exit at the Carats end so people can get out when its full as you have to reverse back & everyone else is coming in, basically CHAOS.

Shoreham coastguard tweeted that they were called to a surfer in trouble near the harbour who was taken off in an ambulance. I didn't hear anything else. Hope they are ok.

At just after 5pm on Sunday we saw some paddleboarders help a guy who was struggling in the river / middle of the harbour - think he had just swam too round from the beach. We were going to call Coastguard etc but the one of the paddleboarders swam him in on the front of his board and he was ok ( hugged his rescuers and walked back up the beach). Stupid thing is that 30 mins later he was back in the water swimming again..some people will never learn!
