9.50am: Only small and the wind is making the small lines mushy. Wait for last thing today and hopefully it will get bigger but tomorrow is looking better.
7.30am: It's high tide first light and there is a small swell, going by the shorebreak it's probably just about a foot with a F4 SW'ly wind. The wind will pick upa bit more south to SW for the rest of the day so it should get a bit bigger as the day goes on but might be a bit onshore. After all the guessing from a week ago the huge low in the Atlantic is about to make it's impact and it's going to come right over us. This means no clean groundswells as we're going to get the wind with it as well but the good news is it means we're going to get waves over the weekend and probably for the next 7 days as the low doesn't look like it's going to go anywhere! Saurday looks like it will start small and get biggest for the afternoon as the wind picks up. Sunday looks windy and it should be an ok size but the wind might be more onshore Southerly for a lot of it. Next week is looking windy all week apart from Tuesday which is looking offshore but I expect that may change! Go get some waves!
